What Is Convention
Often called “con” for short. It is a large event put together by a committee of people who share a similar interest. They charge a fee for entry and incorporate a variety of activities, guests, and entertainment related to their interest. A convention can bring in hundreds, sometimes thousands, of con-goers and a successful convention can be repeated annually for decades.
