How to Volumize Your Cosplay Wigs

Cosplay Wig Out - Episode 06

Video Transcription

Hey Cosplay Shopper fans, welcome to another episode of Cosplay Wig Out. I am Nana. Today I am going to be teaching you about how to volumize your wig.

The first thing you wanna do is you want to comb out your wig. Start from the middle and go towards the bottom. Gently work your way down. Back to the top and go back down. Now after your wig has been combed out, you want to part out your wig. From the top layer to the bottom. Working with curly wigs can be slightly difficult because they are treated. Meaning once you spray them, they can bounce back and get to original forms. Make sure you have enough spray and you tease your hair just enough. After you spray.

Today I am going to use Sebastian Shaper Plus., They are very flexible shaper spray. It's not an extra hold spray. It's very touchable and it's humidity resistance. The chemical is not that bad for your wig so it's alright. I highly recommend it. You are going to take your spray and you are going to spray towards the roots six to twelve inches away. Take your comb and just slightly work your way in. You don't wanna create any knots. You just want to make a little bit of volume towards the scalp. We are going to comb over and it will look a little more full. Notice how this side is a little more push-up than this side. And now we are going to do the same process again.

Take our spray. Hold it 6-12 inches away from the head. Spray towards the roots. And just comb. You are going to have a little strike here. And you are going to put it back down. Push up a little bit. And your hair looks a little bit full. And this is how you volumize your wig.

Thanks for watching. That's all the time we have for today. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact us. Don't forget to subscribe, ok? Thank you.
