How to Cut Layers for Your Cosplay Wigs

Hey Cosplay Shoppers, I am Nana. Today we are gonna be teaching you how to cut layers.

The first thing you wanna do is to have your hair separated from the bottom layer and top layer. If you have a ticker wig, it's ok to have three or four layers. The first thing you wanna do is comb out your wig from the middle and work your way to the bottom. Gently comb out all the knots. Once you comb out all the knots, you can begin cutting.

Today we are making V layers so the middle will be a little bit longer than the sides. We are going to angel it and just cut it. Notice how the side is a little shorter than the middle. The middle we don't need to cut so much. We are working on the second side now. Comb gently. Now we have our bottom layer. We are ready to do our top layer. As you can see, you can kinda already tell the first layer is a little shorter than the bottom so we are going to cut that just few inches. We are going to take our comb. Comb gently through from the middle and work your way down.

We are now going to pick up the first side. And just shield down and angel. Take your second string and shield down towards the middle. Move on to the other side and repeat the same process.
